Heroes of Everyday Life®  – Hunger is an issue too big for one person, team, or organization to solve alone. Sodexo recognizes employees who have invested time, talent, and service spirit to help those at risk of hunger. Anyone can nominate a Sodexo employee as a Hero of Everyday Life. Candidates can be nominated by a colleague, friend, employer, or may be self-nominated.

Selected Heroes receive a $5,000 grant from Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation for the hunger-relief organization of their choice.

Top winners will be formally recognized and will attend an all-expenses-paid trip to the Foundation’s annual fundraising event, the Sodexo Charity Classic Presented by PepsiCo, which will take place on June 10-12, 2024, in Marco Island, FL. They will meet top global and national food, beverage, supplies, equipment and facilities management companies who support the Stop Hunger mission.

The annual nomination period is November 1- Feb 1. Learn more about what it takes to be a Hero of Everyday Life.

Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships – Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation works to ensure that every child in the U.S., especially those most at risk, grows up with dependable access to enough nutritious food to enable them to lead a healthy, productive life. As part of its commitment, Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation wants to engage and reward students who have made a significant impact against hunger and are driving awareness and mobilizing youth to be catalysts for innovative models and solutions to eliminate childhood hunger. The scholarship is named for the Foundation's founder and former president, Steve Brady, who was an unstoppable champion in the fight to end hunger.

The Foundation is looking for students, ages 5 to 25, who are using their creativity, academic studies (like STEM), and organizational skills to help fight hunger in their communities. The Foundation would like to learn about the communities scholars serve and how they engage others in these efforts. National Scholarship winners receive a $10,000 scholarship and a $5,000 grant for their hunger-related charity.

In addition, National winners will attend an all-expenses-paid trip to the Foundation’s annual fundraising event, the Sodexo Charity Classic Presented by PepsiCo, which will take place on June 10-12, 2024, in Marco Island, FL. They will meet top global and national food, beverage, supplies, equipment and facilities management companies who support the Stop Hunger mission.

The annual application period is October 5-December 5.
