Who are we?

The Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California is the leading resource for those affected by bleeding disorders in Southern California. We focus on improving the quality of life and building community for those living with inherited bleeding disorders in Southern California. We serve 9 counties: Kern, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Inyo. Learn more and get involved today!

What is a bleeding disorder?

Bleeding disorders are a group of disorders that share the inability to form a proper blood clot. They are characterized by extended bleeding after injury, surgery, trauma or menstruation. Sometimes the bleeding is spontaneous, without a known or identifiable cause.
