The UKB Education Program provides scholarship opportunities and academic resources to exclusive Keetoowahs in grades K-12, college and trade/vocational school. Those interested in receiving monetary educational assistance are encouraged to fill out the application below.

Requirements and Information
Students seeking assistance must be an EXCLUSIVE UKB member for at least six months before receiving Education services, unless the Education director sees fit to make an exception for extenuating circumstances. If funded, students will be asked to sign a Learning Contract that could stipulate community service hours, a monthly progress report, etc. The stipulation will be determined by both the student and the Education director. Failure to comply with the contract could result in a suspension of Education assistance for up to three years.

Students must be enrolled at least half-time at an accredited college/university or trade school to receive assistance. Full-time is considered 12 credit hours and half-time as 6 credit hours. Half-time enrollment in a trade school will be determined by the program's requirements.

DEADLINES:
February 1 for Spring semester
June 1 for Summer sessions
September 1 for Fall semester
FUNDING AMOUNTS:
Half-time Undergraduates: $700
Full-time Undergraduates: $1,500
Masters Level (or equivalent): $2,000
Doctoral Level (or equivalent): $3,000
Summer School : $500

Spring 2023 Keetoowah graduates are encouraged to complete a cord/stole request form to showcase their tribal pride during their graduation ceremonies. Please download and complete the form and return to jwatson@ukb-nsn.gov.
